David Perez de Albeniz oversees Allfunds in Asia, following his prior assignments as Global Head Strategic Accounts and Regional Manager Middle East. He has built extensive knowledge of the mutual funds business, with a career that spans over 20 years doing Equity Trading, Fund Research, Institutional Advisory and Business Development for various firms. Damian Hitchen, Chief Executive Officer, Swissquote Pte Ltd Damian joined in January 2014 to drive Swissquote’s expansion strategy from being Switzerland’s largest online banking and trading platform into the Middle East & Asia region. During 2014-2019 inclusive he built a successful B2c-B2b office from the DIFC, Dubai with a major focus on the development and upgrade of the Bank existing institutional platform services. In July 2019, he relocated from Dubai to head up Swissquote’s new office in Singapore, which will act as the regional booking centre for its business development in the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on professional, industry and institutional clients such as external asset-managers, insurance firms, securities brokerages, family offices and local - regional Banks/Private Banks. Prior to joining Swissquote, Damian worked in a number of senior roles for HSBC in the Middle East region, and as an Executive r Director for Falcon Private Bank, the Abu Dhabi owned Swiss Private Bank.

Mark Nelligan is Pershing’s senior business representative in Asia Pacific. He is based in Singapore and is responsible for relationship management and business development in the region. He is a member of BNY Mellon’s Asia Pacific Executive Committee and is chief executive officer of Pershing Securities Singapore Private Ltd, which holds a capital markets license to service Singapore financial intermediaries. He has over 20 years of financial services experience. Mark joined Pershing in October 2002 from ING Barings, Singapore, where he was the chief operating officer with responsibility for the bank’s commercial and investment banking operational support platform in South East Asia, Vietnam and India. Prior to this, he held several senior operational roles in Hong Kong, India and London. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (FCA, ICAEW) and a graduate of Jesus College, Cambridge University.

David Friedland is the regional head and managing director of Interactive Brokers Group’s Asia Pacific operations. Mr. Friedland’s tenure with the firm dates back to 1985 where he assisted with the programming and development of its trading systems. In 1995 Mr. Friedland relocated to Hong Kong to oversee and commence the group’s derivative market making (Timber Hill) and brokerage operations (Interactive Brokers) in Asia and Australia. Mr. Friedland has served as vice chairman on the Hong Kong Futures Exchanges HSI Future & Options migration special committee, was a member of the Security and Future Commissions Steering Committee on the Enhancement of the Financial Infrastructure in Hong Kong User Working Group, the Derivative Market Consultative Panel at the HKEx and currently is a member of the HKEX Clearing Risk Working Group, HKEX Cash Market Consultative Panel and the SGX DT Advisory Committee. Mr. Friedland received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Vassar College, cum laude, and his MBA at the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.

Adam Reynolds is CEO of Saxo Markets APAC and has overall responsibility for growing the business for active traders, investors and wholesale clients and for positioning Saxo as a leader in digital transformation and major player in the institutional financial brokerage market. Adam Reynolds joined the Saxo Bank Group in 2014 and has more than 30 years’ experience in financial markets as a macro trader and manager of financial markets trading, sales and portfolio management teams. Prior to Saxo, he was Asia CEO for the Cambridge Strategy Asset Management managing the Asia trading team, business development across the region and portfolio managing their Asian Macro fund. Prior to that, Adam was Managing Director for both Merrill Lynch and Société Générale. Adam has an MSc in Finance from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Singapore Institute of Directors.

Michael has an extensive background in financial services in Asia, Europe and North America. He has been in Asia-Pacific since 1995 – first in Hong Kong for six years, then in Sydney and Singapore, returning to Hong Kong in 2007. Before setting up Hubbis in early 2009, Michael founded Pacific Prospect in 2002 and sold it to global business-to-business publisher Incisive Media in 2006, continuing to serve as Chief Executive Officer until October 2008. Prior to Pacific Prospect, Michael worked for nine years in financial markets publishing. He joined Euromoney Publications in 1993 as the publisher of a quarterly magazine, International Bond Investor. In 1995, Michael joined Thomson Financial Services (now Thomson Reuters) to conceive and launch Finance Asia magazine. While he was Managing Director of Finance Asia, Michael also started the Asian Debt Review, Asian Private Capital Magazine and started the Finance Asia Conference Business. In 1997, Michael founded FIA Limited. Born in North Wales, Michael was head boy of St David’s College Llandudno. He has a degree in Business Administration from Cardiff University. And is married with three children - Reanna, Garett and Tarryn.
