Richard Grasby is an experienced trusts, funds, family office and private wealth lawyer. He has experience in multiple jurisdictions and has been admitted as a lawyer in England & Wales, the Cayman Islands and the BVI. Richard has expertise in the establishment and administration of offshore entities including trusts, companies and investment funds. He has significant experience in compliance, governance and account opening. Richard also has considerable involvement in private trust companies, family constitutions and succession planning. He has worked with clients and advisers in numerous jurisdictions. Richard lived and worked in Asia for over 12 years. Prior to that, he was based in the Cayman Islands. He has also worked in Jersey and London. Richard is the immediate past chair of the STEP Hong Kong branch, a committee member of the STEP Business Families Global Special Interest Group and a committee member of the STEP International Client Global Special Interest Group. He is a member of the Hong Kong Trustees Association and a lecturer on their Trust Training Certificate course. He is an elected member of the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law.

Denise Ng is Henley & Partners’ Head of North Asia based in Hong Kong. She leads a team of 18 dedicated advisory professionals in China and Hong Kong to assist private clients’ residency & citizenship planning and advisory. Denise has extensive experience in managing operations and business development, both in the region and as part of a wider global matrix, with strong contacts in EMEA and North America. She has over 20 years of experience in real estate consultancy, portfolio management, global mobility and relocation services, including immigration. Prior joining Henley & Partners, she served as Hong Kong Head of Destination & Real Estate Services at Cartus and Head of Tenancy Management, Residential Leasing & Relocation Services at Jones Lang LaSalle. Denise is a certified global mobility specialist, a licensed real estate agent and member of the Investment Migration Council. She holds a BA (Hon) in Business Administration and a Higher Diploma in Accountancy.

Dr Nick Xiao joined Hywin International in 2019 as CEO. Nick previously worked at Standard Chartered Private Banking, Credit Suisse Private Banking, Bank Julius Baer, building and managing various businesses in China, Taiwan, and the wider North Asia. Later, Nick was managing partner of a family office and advised leading families in Asia and Switzerland on their wealth and pursuits. Nick holds a PhD in Finance from Wuhan University in China and is a prolific academic. He published in 2004 one of the earliest books on China’s OTC derivatives market, and contributed award-winning papers to the official journals of People’s Bank of China and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Nick is widely consulted for his views on private banking in Asia and his insight on China, through speeches at events and interviews with international and Chinese media.

Paul is a Managing Director and Senior Wealth Advisor for the ASIAPAC region of the JP Morgan Private Bank. He is based in Hong Kong and joined JP Morgan 14 years ago from Ernst and Young LLP where he was a Director and head of the Private Client Services group in London. He was also Chairman and founder of the Ernst & Young International Private Wealth Group. He has over thirty five years experience in advising wealthy individuals and families on both domestic and international tax and estate planning as well as family governance and succession issues. He also has wide experience in advising philanthropists on both tax and structuring issues in relation to charitable giving. Paul graduated from Durham University and is a UK Solicitor. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and has served as co-chair of its International Committee as well as being an advisor to its UK technical committee and a member of the Family Business Special Interest Group. He is also Vice Chairman of the UK charity Philanthropy Impact prior to relocating to Hong Kong.

Vivian Hu is a Managing Director at Leo Wealth, an independent global wealth advisor. Mr. On Wai LAU is Head of Wealth Planning covering North Asia markets in Banque Pictet & Cie SA HK Branch. On Wai (ACG, TEP, MBA) has been working for different European private banking groups and trust companies for over 30 years. As North Asia Head of Wealth Planning in Pictet, he specializes in advising Greater China HNW families for their wealth succession, cross border investments, immigration planning, risk management and family governance planning by setting up different fiduciary and legal structures, including family offices and private trust companies etc.
