Rajah & Tann boosts South Asia Desk Capabilities
Rajah & Tann has announced the expansion of Rajah & Tann’s South Asia Desk with the recent appointments of Sriram Sudarsanan Chakravarthi and Karam Hiroo Advani, both of whom will be enhancing the firm’s practice in South Asia focusing on India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, for both its corporate and disputes practices.
Prior to joining Rajah & Tann Singapore, Chakravarthi was the Senior Director, Legal Development and Legal Education / Chief Legal Counsel of the Singapore Academy of Law, the firm said in a statement.
Advani has been with the firm since 2016, and has been instrumental in developing connections with India-based clients for international arbitration & projects work and the corporate team in a variety of advisory and transactional work.
As the firm pushes forward with its regionalisation efforts, the South Asia region remains a key focus for Rajah & Tann with immense potential and untapped growth opportunities, says the firm.
