Contemi Continues SE Asia Expansion; Appoints New Sales Director
Contemi Solutions, a leading technology provider to the global wealth management, insurance, banking and financial services community, has announced the appointment of Gaurav Mehta as the Director of Sales to continue the company’s rapid growth in the Southeast Asia region, which includes Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
Mehta will be responsible for building out the Contemi business, brand and driving its go-to-market strategy and execution for the Southeast Asia region, according to a press release by the firm. He will be working with the product development, operations and marketing teams to enhance Contemi’s offering in the region.
Mehta brings with him over a decade of experience working across a range of sectors and countries in Asia. His most significant experience lies in the financial services, technology and media sectors where his work included business development, strategy negotiation, business planning and sales, according to Contemi.
He joins Contemi Solutions from WeInvest, an end-to-end Digital Wealth Platform, where he was Head of the firm’s APAC Business. Prior to this, he was an Associate Director at Singapore-headquartered Independent Asset Management firm.
Mehta has extensive expertise in developing deep customer engagement with large global clients and securing strategic wins in highly competitive markets, says Contemi. Throughout his career, he has helped organisations address the challenges of servicing in a digital world by leveraging cloud scalability, achieving infrastructure and application resiliency, and adapting to the latest technology and compliance requirements.
