Peter is a senior global financial services executive with 25 years’ experience leading distribution businesses (across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas) across fiduciary services, private clients, asset and wealth management and insurance. Peter’s specific expertise lies in the emerging markets with the last 7 years spent in Asia, leading global private client and fiduciary businesses.
Peter is responsible for the leadership and growth of the Cone Marshall ‘CM’ Group across all its offices and teams, spanning North and South America, Europe, and Australasia. He leads a global coverage team and oversees key strategic, sales and operational initiatives across the group, with a focus on deepening relationships with key families, global private banks, family offices, legal and accounting firms and independent asset managers. Peter is also responsible for the growth strategy of the group’s global fiduciary platform via organic and in-organic means.
Peter’s specific expertise lies in advising the increasingly complex needs of Asian families, business owners and entrepreneurs in relation to pre-IPO planning, family governance, business succession and intergenerational wealth transfer and planning. Peter advises several Asian and PRC families with their cross-border planning (including the set- up of family offices and private trust companies) and their geographic diversification and connectedness with the Americas and Europe.
Peter joined the CM Group in early 2018, from Amicorp in Hong Kong, where he led their global Institutional Sales business for over 6 years. Prior to joining Amicorp, Peter spent 10 years in private banking at Macquarie Group and Westpac, and previously was with Andersen for 10 years in Australia and the US, in roles across private clients, risk management, corporate governance and audit.

Peter was raised in Sydney, Australia, is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Master of Commerce (Macquarie University), and a Bachelor of Commerce (UNSW). Peter is married with 2 children and lives in Hong Kong.
