Nicholas joined Transamerica Life (Bermuda) Ltd. (Transamerica life Bermuda) as the Chief Executive Officer of its Singapore branch office in August 2018. Transamerica Life Bermuda (Singapore) is fully authorised and regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Nicholas brings over 24 years of experience with him in the financial services industry, including a wealth of expertise in high net worth (HNW) financial planning and distribution. Before joining Transamerica Life Bermuda (Singapore), he was Director, and Head of Product Management Insurance Solutions, APAC, with Credit Suisse Trust Limited based in Singapore where he was responsible for driving the growth of their HNW insurance business in Southeast Asia. Nicholas’s prior experience also includes many years in Hong Kong where he held senior management positions working with UBS, where he was responsible for the launch of their insurance offering as well as with AXA, Winterthur Life and Credit Suisse Group Private Bank. Nicholas holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business in Applied Economics from the University of South Australia, and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. He also holds Hong Kong qualifications in insurance, MPF and the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute.
