UBS Chief Digital Officer exits after 12 months

UBS’ Chief Digital Officer, Elly Hardwick has reportedly exited her role at the Swiss firm less than 12 months after initially taking up the role.

Mike Dargan, UBS’ Chief Information Officer, is said to be taking up the role following Hardwick’s exit, who was reported a key aspect of UBS’ USD2 billion annual technology plan, according to an article by Finews.

Hardwick was recently revealed to have become affiliated with Itiviti, a global technology and service provider operating across over 50 countries, reportedly as a Non-Executive Director, according to her LinkedIn.

She is also reportedly a Non-Executive Director at Alpha Bank, a Greek financial group offering financial products across retail banking, SMEs and corporate banking, asset management and private banking, the distribution of insurance products, investment banking, brokerage and real estate management.

In addition, she, since 2018, has been a board member at Axis Capital.

“The financial services industry is seeing a significant increase both in opportunities for digitisation and in demand for digitised services,” said Hardwick in a statement by Itiviti.
