UBP Continues to Strengthen its Asia team
UBP announces a number of recent senior appointments to the team in Asia, further strengthening capabilities in providing investment services and in serving clients across Hong Kong and Singapore.
Frankie Tong joined UBP as Managing Director, Head of Investment Consultants, North Asia in Hong Kong in late March 2021. Tong oversees the Premium Advisory proposition in North Asia and leads the team of Investment Consultants. Prior to this role, Tong was leading a team of specialists focusing on ultra-high net worth individuals at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management, providing tailored investment solutions on a multi-asset basis.
Gigi Liu and Connie Chan, joined UBP as Senior Relationship Managers in Hong Kong. Liu brings more than 30 years of experience in private banking. Prior to joining UBP, Liu worked as a senior relationship manager at the private banking arm of Bank of Montreal. Chan, before joining UBP, worked at BNP Paribas Wealth Management as Director, with a focus on Hong Kong and China markets.
In Singapore, Jasmine Er assumed the role of Market Head, Key Clients for South Asia. A senior Wealth Management practitioner, Er has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and joins us from Bank of Singapore. Arriving at the same time as Er, also from Bank of Singapore are Chua Yng Chng and Yvonne Lim Yee Wen, who join as Relationship Manager and Client Relationship Assistant respectively.
Frank Gan, joined the South Asia Investment Advisory team. Gan is an experienced multi-asset practitioner in the Advisory Services industry. His most recent experience was in Standard Chartered Private Bank where he worked in a similar capacity.
