Maybank Kim Eng makes senior appointment

Maybank Kim Eng has reportedly appointed Aditya Laroia as Managing Director, Global Head of Prime Brokerage and Country Head of Investment Management, Singapore.

Laroia joins Maybank Kim Eng from Saxo Markets, where he was most recently Head of Sales for Asia Pacific for the multi-asset trading and investment FinTech firm, according to his LinkedIn. During his time with Saxo in Singapore, he was responsible for managing Saxo Group’s APAC sales and commercial activities, spanning private, institutional and wholesale clients.

Laroia brings over two decades of experience to his new role, having begun his career with Lehman Brothers, with whom he was affiliated with for 10 years, having also held roles with Nomura, based in the UK, where he was Head of Wholesale Electronic Trading & Financing, EMEA.
