Lombard Odier continues its regional growth plan in Asia with strategic senior hires

Carol Chan joins as Chief Operating Officer and Annie Lim joins as Senior Relationship Manager.

Lombard Odier today announces the appointments of two strategic senior hires as part of its growth strategy and continued commitment to Asia. Carol Chan joins as Chief Operating Officer and reports to Vincent Magnenat, Limited Partner and Chief Executive Officer, Asia. Annie Lim joins as Senior Relationship Manager, reporting to Valérie d’Argembeau, Head of Private Clients, Singapore. Both are based in Singapore.

In Asia, Lombard Odier has remained focused on its core strengths in global investment advisory and family services. These appointments reflect the importance of Asia as a key growth market, the bank’s commitment to excellence and its long-term, client-focused approach in the region.

With over 30 years of experience in private and investment banking operations for global banks, Carol most recently served as Managing Director at Credit Suisse managing its regional and global operations. Her wealth of experience in front-to-back processes and stakeholder management will further support the ongoing elevation of process efficiencies and controls in Lombard Odier’s Asia business.

Prior to joining Lombard Odier, Annie was a Senior Relationship Manager at Credit Suisse and counts over 26 years of banking experience under her belt, and will continue to establish long-term client relationships in the region.

Vincent Magnenat, Limited Partner and Chief Executive Officer for Asia, Lombard Odier, said: “Our business and operations in Asia are growing and flourishing, and we are delighted to bolster this growth with the hiring of Carol and Annie, both of whom are highly experienced professionals and bring a wealth of expertise in the region. Clients in the region have increasingly sophisticated needs and in uncertain times like these, clients heavily rely on us. At Lombard Odier, we have a relentless focus on clients and thus it is paramount that we continue our strategy of selective strategic hires to provide world class services for clients across Asia.”
