Credit Suisse appoints Rickie Chan as single Market Group Head for Wealth Management Hong Kong and Eddy Sze as Vice Chairman Greater China

Credit Suisse has announced the appointment of Rickie Chan as the single Market Group Head for Wealth Management Hong Kong and Eddy Sze as Vice-Chairman Greater China, effective July 1, 2022.

Benjamin Cavalli, Chief Executive Officer Hong Kong, Head of Wealth Management Asia Pacific and APAC Sustainability Leader said: “Hong Kong is a key strategic market and one of Credit Suisse’s regional hubs for Wealth Management Asia Pacific. As part of the bank’s accelerated growth plans, we decided to combine the two Hong Kong market groups to create greater synergy under the leadership of Rickie. ”

Rickie joined Credit Suisse in February 2014 and has over 25 years of experience in the wealth management industry with a particular focus on UHNW clients. Under his leadership at Credit Suisse, Rickie has transformed his Hong Kong market into one of the fastest growing markets in APAC, averaging double digit YoY growth consistently in the last 6 years.

In his new role as the Vice-Chairman Greater China, Eddy Sze will be focusing on client engagement, working closely with the Greater China leadership team and senior bankers to build and strengthen the firm’s key client relationships and capitalize on collaboration opportunities, whilst focusiung on grooming our talent pool.
