BMO announces the launch of Asian Equity Fund

BMO Global Asset Management is reportedly launching the BMO LGM Responsible Asian Equity Fund.

The new Fund will be managed by Gokce Bulut and Christopher Darling, who are both part of GAM’s emerging markets subsidiary LGM Investments.

The new fund replaces the BMO LGM Asian Growth and Income Fund, according to an article by Citywire Asia.

Bulut is also the Lead Portfolio Manager for LGM’s Responsible Global Emerging Markets strategy, according to the firm’s website, having joined LGM in 2017.

The fund is looking to invest in sectors including health and well-being, food and nutrition, energy transition, responsible finance, sustainable infrastructure and technological innovation, and will be registered for sale in Switzerland.
