Circuit-breaker, lockdown, work from home. In practical terms, doing business will likely not be the same as it was pre-2020 for financial institutions. The measures to release the circuit-breaker/lockdown restrictions will, in all probability, be implemented on a stage-by-stage basis. So what will be the new normal?

This virtual panel will explore the post-COVID-19 climate, to better understand how digital working will be undertaken by financial institutions, both in the office or at home.

Will digital banks, when they are fully operational, have an inherent advantage in this scenario? The Hong Kong and Singapore regulatory positions will be analysed during this session.

And lastly, will the use of digital identity applications ease the KYC process, and at the same time, meet regulatory requirements? Would digital banks be able to exploit this advantage, or can traditional banks compete on a level playing field?

Please tune in to listen to the panel, who are experts in their fields, to explore the new normal.
