Pote Harinasuta is currently the CEO of One Asset Management (“ONE AM”) - one of the first asset management companies in Thailand. Founded in 1992, ONE AM has grown to become the top non-bank asset management companies in Thailand with total AUM over US$3 billion, specialising in funds that include equity, fixed income, properties, private equity trustee and foreign products. Prior to working at One AM, Pote was the CFO at BCPG - a subsidiary of the Bangchak Group - taking the company public in 2016 as well as completing renewable energy M&A transactions across the globe whilst involving in both corporate and project financing worth over $500 million. With more than 20 years of experience in fixed income, equity, currencies, commodities business, Pote was previously a Director in South East Asia Global Markets at Merrill Lynch and pioneered its effort into Thailand by successfully acquiring a securities company in Thailand to form Merrill Lynch Securities (Thailand). Prior to that Pote was Head of Sales for Thailand at RBS Singapore after having been involved in sales, treasury products & structuring role at HSBC. He also worked at the SCB Group covering Treasury, Capital Markets as well as setting up the Global Investment Division at the Bank before he was seconded to spearhead its asset management arm doubling the franchise volume beyond THB 1 trillion. Pote obtained a Master of Science in International Management from King’s College London in 1997 as well as completing a 2-year Executive Management course at The Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration, in affiliation with Kellogg and Wharton Schools of Management. Prior to that he graduated from the University of London with an Upper Second Class Honours Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Sciences. Pote also completed the Directors Certification Program (DCP) at the Institute of Directors.
