Asia’s growing ranks of UHNW and HNW individuals and families in recent years have increasingly been selecting Singapore as the jurisdiction of choice for their single-family offices and at the same time, more and more multi-family offices are also making use of the remarkably advanced infrastructure to establish and/or expand their client base in the region and indeed across the globe. UHNW clients do not of course only use Singapore as a centre for their family offices – many of them from all over Asia and indeed globally choose to work with private banks and EAMs and MFOs in Singapore.

In our Digital Dialogue event of September 1, Hubbis will assemble a group of wealth and asset management, tax, consulting and other experts to analyse the development of Singapore, which has become increasingly compelling as a destination for global wealth management. Singapore is today almost ideally formulated for family offices, due to the friendly ‘13’ suite of government incentives and smart structures such as  the VCC.

The accommodating regulation and incentives are complemented by Singapore’s wide range of wealth management, legal, accounting, consulting and other service providers, as well as great flexibility and quality for such families regarding immigration/residence, education, healthcare, security, housing, and lifestyle. And in more normalised times, the travel infrastructure is second to none.

In short, this edition of the Hubbis Digital Dialogue Series will explore the many appeals of the city-state as a wealth management hub for Asia’s UHNW clients and families. The discussion with help to break down the various incentives, regulatory framework and legislation that Singapore offers to entities operating in the city, navigating the numerous tax incentives, professional service providers, compliance requirements and directives, and other notable information which culminate in the offering that is Singapore, and ultimately how it stacks up against the other jurisdictions in Asia and around the globe.
