Richard Piliero

Richard Piliero began his professional career on Wall Street, after receiving university degrees in economics and law. In the early part of his career, in New York, London and Geneva, Richard was international counsel to Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. Then in 1983, he became head of the Geneva institutional office for Merrill Lynch. In 1986, he joined TDB American Express Bank in Geneva as deputy head of private banking. In 1996, Richard moved to Singapore to be the regional head for South-east Asia at American Express Bank. Before joining Finaport last year, Richard was head of South-east Asian private banking for Coutts, and regional executive for about six years for EFG in Singapore.
