Vishal Kapoor is the General Manager - Wealth Management, South Asia, for Standard Chartered Bank, with overall responsibility for the provision of comprehensive wealth advisory services to the Bank’s clients, offering solutions combining Deposits, Funds and Portfolio Investments, Treasury and Foreign Exchange, Stock and Fixed Income Trading, Lending and Insurance services.
Vishal has over 17 years of experience across Fund Management and Banking. Prior to joining Standard Chartered Bank, Vishal was the Senior Director and Head, Financial Advisory Services for American Express Bank in India. He also served as Director and Global Product Head, Wealth Management with American Express Bank International, based in New York.
Vishal has been a Member of the Board, Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) India and continues as a Charter Member Representative for FPSB India. He is also frequently invited to contribute to industry development and client education initiatives through press articles and electronic media contributions, as well as participation in industry forums.
Vishal is a Post Graduate in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
