David has held the position of Chief Executive Officer, Director and Responsible Officer with Professional Investment Advisory Services since February 2010, after being brought in to align and grow the Singapore business as well as drive the Asian region potential for PIAS, which has operated in Singapore since 2001.
In 2009, David consulted into UK, Europe and Asia in the wealth management, insurance and asset management spaces. Prior to this, from 2006 to 2009 he was CEO for ING Financial Planning in Hong Kong, where he also sat on numerous strategic regional and leadership committees and executive boards. Previously David held leadership positions within ING Australia and commenced his career in financial services as a financial planner in the 1990s, where he successfully owned and ran a leading financial advisory practice in Sydney, Australia.
David holds a Masters of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Applied Science, numerous financial services diploma and is currently writing his thesis towards his Doctorate in international management on western financial services organisations operating in Asia.
