Sidney Sze is Founder President of the Society of Registered Financial Planners Hong Kong.
He was until mid-2010 Chief Executive Officer of Midland Financial Group. Prior to that, he was the General Manager of the China Operations of Triumph International (Overseas) Limited and the General Manager of Lamex (Holdings) Limited. Sidneywas also formerly President of the Society of Management accountants of Canada, Hong Kong Branch, in 2000/2002.
Sidney’s specialty is in investment, insurance, business consultancy, professional training and comprehensive financial planning. He is an active speaker at universities and training institutions. For example, in June 2002 he presented to 250 Certified Public Accountants and senior managers on “Value-added services for CPA firms – Financial Planning” at the Shanghai National Accounting Institute; and in October 2009, he spoke to 2,000 professional accountants in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on “Think Like a CEO – From Technical Excellence to Strategic Leadership Role”.
Other than seminars, Sidney contributes his professional insight in writing. His latest books include: 《禪‧語‧易‧學之快樂根源》、《全方位親子理財手冊》、《前藝‧錢藝 為投資者把脈》、《擦亮投資眼》、《走出創富的迷思》、《財務策劃師專業考試Q&A》 and Q&A for Financial Planning Professional Examinations. Plus, he is a regular contributor to newspapers and magazines on money matters. He is also actively involved in serving the community, being a board member of some charitable and non-profit organisations.
