Esther Heer is Chief Executive Officer of BSI Investment Advisors (HK) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of BSI AG, and Deputy Chief Executive Officer BSI Asia.
Esther is responsible for building BSI in North Asia as the group strengthens its presence in the region. Aside from her general management responsibilities, she leads a team of private bankers and wealth management services. She reports directly to the CEO of BSI Asia, Hanspeter Brunner.
Esther brings to her role over 30 years of banking experience. The previous 20 years in Hong Kong she was a major driving force in building up RBS Coutts in Asia. Not only was she one of RBS Coutts' most successful private bankers, she is also regarded as one of the most well-connected private bankers in Asia, and an authoritative commentator in the industry.
A Swiss national, Esther was educated in Austria and Switzerland. She speaks English, German and French. She is an active member of The International Women Forum and is involved in fundraising efforts for the China Oxford Scholarship Fund. Esther was on the judging panel of the "Business Woman of the Year" Award sponsored by Veuve Clicquot.
She enjoys traveling, sports and is a great lover of art. She sits on the board of "Friends of the Hong Kong Museum of Art" and is currently a member of the Tate Asia-Pacific Acquisition Committee.
