Anthony Chan is Head of BlackRock / iShares Asia Research and Investment Advisory. His team focuses on ETF-based investment research and thought leadership, and client advisory. In this capacity, his team is responsible for conducting market and product research, developing investment insights, and advising clients on implementation strategies using ETFs.
Prior to joining iShares, Anthony was a Principal Consultant with Towers Watson & Co (formerly Watson Wyatt Investment Consulting) in Hong Kong, where he held regional responsibility for client investment strategy. His career in financial services began 20 years ago, first training as an actuary in London before moving to Singapore and subsequently Hong Kong, where he is now based.
Anthony is a graduate of Cambridge University where he studied mathematics and is also a member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association®.
