Stewart Aldcroft has been in Hong Kong since 1985. He has had extensive experience in the asset management business, working for traditional fund houses such as Schroders, HSBC, Franklin Templeton, Standard Chartered Bank, and Investec - and in the Alternatives and Hedge Fund area for Noble Investments and Horizon21.
In August 2011, Stewart was appointed as Senior Advisor for Citi's Investor Services business - to assist the business to develop new initiatives and grow its client-base and reach across the Asia Pacific region. This involves advising mainly those companies wishing to set up in Asia, and those in Asia wanting to set up in Europe or America.
He joined Citi from Enhanced Investment Products (EIP), where he was head of business development for beta products since May 2010. Stewart has also been on the Committee of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association and held various other similar positions within the industry in Asia.
Stewart is one of the Asian fund industry’s best known marketers and commentators. He is a frequent participant at fund industry conferences and has been a frequent contributor to print media, TV and radio internationally.
