Garry Frenklah’s investment banking career commenced in 1994 in Australia with Challenger International. In 1996 he moved to Asia, where he worked in Hong Kong and Tokyo in sales and structuring with multi-asset class derivatives on both the asset and liability side for Salomon Brothers, Barclays Capital, HSBC Securities, SMBC Capital Markets, and from 2006 to mid-2011 – The Royal Bank of Scotland, initially as Head of Private Banking Sales in Asia (Equity & FX/Precious Metal Derivatives).
At RBS, Garry was based in Singapore and most recently responsible for sales of structured retail products in South Asia. He personally took a leading role in product innovation, structuring and creation.
He has been a frequent and sought-after speaker at industry symposiums, conferences and client seminars.
Garry completed a BSc (Mathematics major) at the University of Melbourne in 1988, and obtained a Certificate of Futures from the Sydney Futures Exchange in 1994.
