Albert Chiu is the Chief Executive, Asia Pacific Region, of EFG Bank.
Prior to joining EFG, Albert was with HSBC Bank USA, Hong Kong, as Treasury Manager (1993 to 2000) and Citibank as Vice President (1987 to 1993).
Albert graduated with a Bachelor Degree on Business Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1987. He also obtained a High Diploma on Asian Studies from The Sophia University of Japan. In 2003, Albert completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Albert served as a volunteer British Army Officer with The Royal Hong Kong Regiment (RHKR) and received army training at the Royal Military Academy of Sandhurst in England from 1989 to 1995. He was also a FIFA Class Soccer Referee for FIFA from 2000 to 2005.
