Wealth-X’s report on the ultra high net worth (UHNW) population in Indonesia has found that the combined wealth of this segment stands at roughly US$125 billion.
The firm estimated that there are 775 individuals resident in Indonesia worth US$30 million or more, with at least 50 new individuals joining the ranks of the ultra wealthy in the last 12 months.
"We expect our research data to be of significant interest to the banking and investment community, both within Indonesia and beyond,” said Deborah Zilian, Asia Pacific business development manager. “Understanding the growth of wealth in Indonesia will be a key element in investment decisions for organisations in the region.”
