Credit Suisse adds senior private bankers to Asia team

Credit Suisse has added three senior individuals to its private banking business across Asia.

Credit Suisse has added three senior individuals to its private banking business across Asia.

Song Kun has joined the firm in Hong Kong as a managing director and senior client partner for Greater China. Song joined from Merrill Lynch, where she was managing director of investments for the private banking and investment group, responsible for originating and maintaining ultra high net worth client relationships for the China market and advising on multi-asset class investment strategy including capital markets solutions.

At the same time, following the completion of Credit Suisse’s merger with Clariden Leu in April 2012, Jimmy Lee has re-joined Credit Suisse as a managing director, responsible for the integration of these businesses. Most recently, Lee was chief executive officer Asia Pacific at Clariden Leu from 2009 onwards, and before that headed South-east Asia/South Asia at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management.

Yee Chin Lit has also re-joined Credit Suisse, in the the role of managing director and sector head in the Indonesia market. He was previously a managing director and head of South-east Asia at Clariden Leu, which was also after a stint as managing director and group manager for South-east Asia at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management.
