ABN AMRO has hired Daniel Teo as country chief operating officer in Singapore and chief operating officer for its private banking business across Asia.
With over 25 years of experience, Teo was most recently the regional chief operating officer and managing director at Bank of Singapore (BOS). In addition, he was one of the key founding members of ING Asia Private Bank, playing an integral role in the integration of the ING business with OCBC and the launch of BOS from 2009 onwards.
Earlier this year, ABN AMRO beefed up its team in Singapore and Asia with several hires: Rajiv Sodhi joining as team leader and senior private banker; Alfie Lau being appointed as regional head of private lending; and Josephine Feilzer joining the firm’s private wealth management and international desk team.
