To further service high net worth clients in Bangalore and the surrounding region, Barclays Wealth has hired Shajikumar Devakar as director in Bengaluru, India.

Devakar has more than 12 years of experience in financial services, and in his new role will manage a team of private bankers and will lead business development initiatives. 

Before joining Barclays, he was a director at Deutsche Bank in Bangalore. Prior to that, he worked with organisations like HDFC Bank, Citi, HSBC and Deutsche.
