The Standard Chartered Private Bank has launched its inaugural “Summer Business School” for the children of its clients, as it looks to confront the challenge of next-generation education.

Twenty youngsters, aged from 18 to 25, have been invited to the six-week course in Singapore.

It will be led by the bank’s executives and the consumer banking strategy team, to provide participants with a good entry into and quality experience in business strategy and finance.

The bank said it developed the course in response to clients’ demands for a business-focused training programme: “One of the differentiated aspects of this course is that it provides not only training on future financial planning but also real life business strategy experience in a corporate environment,” it said in a statement.
